An experimental study has been made of the energy balance of a dry artificial leaf under controlled radiative and convective heat loads.
The exchange coefficients found for free and forced convection agreed with calculated values. This study has provided insight into problems of assessing energy budgets at the single leaf level and indicated the need for study of transient coupled exchange phenomena.
Key Words: Leaf energy balance
