Errors in Sampling and Infrared Analysis of CO2 in Air and Their Influence in Determination of Net Photosynthetic Rate1

Errors which may arise in sampling and infrared analysis of CO2 concentration in air are discussed. A pressurization technique for calibrating a CO2 analyzer is described. A method for calculating the standard deviation of the rate of photosynthesis based on errors in all measured parameters is presented.
