Dry Matter Accumulation and Moisture Loss During Maturation of Corn Grain1

Synopsis: Significant differences in the rate of drying were found among corn single crosses. Parental inbred lines differed in their effects on the rate of moisture loss. Ninety-five percent of physiologic maturity varied from 53–61 days after silking.
