On the Relationship Between Water and Sugar Cane Yield in Hawaii1

Synopsis: A general equation is derived to express the fraction of actual to potential yield as a function of the fraction of actual to potential evapotranspiration. This equation is further simplified so that the actual yield could be expressed as a sole function of water. The estimated yields differ from the actual yields by 7%.
