Effect of Fertilizers on the Quality of Vegetables1

Synopsis: Published reports indicate that, although mineral fertilizers can increase nutritional value of vegetables, their chief effect on quality is correction of defects caused by nutrient deficiencies. A well fertilized crop is usually a high quality crop.
