Response of Several Crops to Ammonium and Nitrate Forms of Nitrogen as Influenced by Soil Fumigation and Liming1

Synopsis: A differential response to N source was found among the six crops on fumigated soil when plant weight was used as the criterion. Plant height and percent total N in the plant were found to be unsatisfactory criteria for evaluating the efficiency of N sources.
