Grazing Production Curves. II. Determining the Economic Optimum Stocking Rate1

Synopsis: Certain general principles involved in determining the economic optimum stocking rate on a given pasture are defined. The principles discussed take into account the effect of both economic and biological variables. A procedure for the rapid estimation of the economic optimum stocking rate for varying economic situations is presented.
