Toxicity to Garden Peas of Certain Finely-Ground Woods and Barks Mixed with Soil1

Synopsis: Twenty-two of 28 woods and barks studied produced no significant toxicity, 4 of either the woods or barks caused slight inhibition of growth, and 2 (California incense cedar wood and white pine bark) were very injurious.
