Effect of Variation in Fertilizer Rates and Ratios on Yield and Profit Surfaces1

Synopsis: Yield and profit surfaces from two selected corn and cotton experiments indicate that a rather wide range of flexibility in fertilizer rate and ratio is possible without seriously affecting either yield or profit.
