Precision of Estimates of Evapotranspiration in Missouri Climate1

Synopsis: Penman and Thornthwaite derived estimates of evapotranspiration were compared with the measured evapotranspiration from corn. Both methods of estimation approximated the measured values, with the method of Penman giving a lower variability.
