Synopsis: Puccinellia distans survived relatively well when grown with concentrations of 330 me. of soluble salts per liter of substrate. Seaside bentgrass and Alta Fescue survived relatively well at concentrations of 194 and 134 me. per liter, respectively, while Kentucky bluegrass and highland bentgrass survived relatively well at 74 me. per liter. Alta Fescue and Seaside bent germinated better than Kentucky blue or highland bent under moderately saline field conditions.
