Making Agronomy Attractive to College Students

B. R. Bertramson2

Synopsis: Professors in 25 agronomy departments report that agronomy is made attractive to students by superior teaching and an effective and sympathetic advisory system. Moral support and technical assistance from the staff in managing the affairs of the Agronomy Club helped to create esprit de corps. Excellent educational and financial projects for Agronomy Clubs are briefly summarized.

2 Chairman, Department of Agronomy, Washington State College, Pullman.

Received for publication December 16, 1957.
