Synopsis: In a 4-year experiment, NaCl at either 120 or 240 pounds per acre annually did not improve the stands or increase the yields of alfalfa receiving very low to very high rates of KC1. The concentrations of Na in the above-ground part of the alfalfa never exceeded 4 m.e. per 100 grams of dry matter.
