Nitrogen Fertilization Increases N, P, and K Concentrations in Oats1

Synopsis: Top-dressings of N in the spring, 2 to 3 weeks before oats were plowed under in the "boot" stage, increased N, P, and K concentrations in oat tops. This effect on P and K absorption was due in part to increased root growth.
