Lodging Resistance Studies in Oats. I. Comparing Methods of Testing and Sources for Straw Strength1

Synopsis: The snap test and the lodging resistance factor were highly correlated with natural lodging. Oat varieties CI 7318, 5154, 7317, and 7026 were superior for straw strength.
