Synopsis: After each of 4 annual applications on 6 Alabama soils, boron did not accumulate in the surface 12 inches of coarse-textured soils, but did in fine-textured soils. Crimson clover seed yield increases were highest with the first 10-lbs. rate of borax per year on coarse-textured soils. Four annual 30-lb. applications on crimson clover were not toxic to soybeans and cotton following the clover.
